One of the protein sources in Pulsin Keto Bar is faba bean potein - an exciting addition to plant-based protein bars containing 88% protein (so it’s protein content is on par with soya and whey isolate), but vegan and completely allergen free. Faba protein is extremely versatile with a neutral flavour and can be easily mixed with sweet or savoury dishes to boost your daily protein intake. It is also heat stable making it great for hot soups and casseroles.
Note on xylitol at keto diet: the impactful amount of carbohydrate in the bar is 4.1g. We understand that some people count polyols in their carbohydrate total for the day. With regards to many polyols such as maltitol this makes sense, as there is a meaningful increase in blood glucose following maltitol ingestion. However we have used xylitol which has a negligible impact on blood glucose. Therefore we believe that it can be incorporated into even a strict Keto dieter’s plan.
