Cocoa and dark chocolate and fat burning
After dark chocolate 100% in a healthy diet can and should be reached for many reasons - an extremely valuable component of chocolate which is cocoa is the more valuable, the less processed, there is no better source of theobromine and epicatechin than just cocoa.
Epicatechin is a strong, natural myostatin blocker, thanks to which it facilitates the reduction of adipose tissue and at the same time supports the development of lean muscle mass, while theobromine is a popular component of preparations from the so-called fat burners, theophylline also has a similar effect, also found in cocoa. It belongs to methylxanthines (caffeine belongs to this group), theobromine intensifies the breakdown of fatty molecules and thermogenesis - by affecting the norepinephrine activity pathways, this positive effect of cocoa on body shaping has been documented by numerous scientific studies. Cocoa is also a valuable source of polyphenols, and these very strongly intensify the burning of backup fats, i.e. those whose combustion is the most reluctant to us. Flavonoids have a stimulating effect on all fat burning mechanisms: those associated with the activity of norepinephrine, fatty acids, thyroid hormones and steroid hormones.
To sum up, both pure cocoa and chocolate with a cocoa content of min. 80% are simply "peppered" with slimming nutrients. In addition to the valuable fatty acids (stearic, oleic, OEA) we find in cocoa polyphenols and flavonoids, methylxanthines (caffeine and theobromine), amines, lecithin and fiber.
