Applied Nutrition Critical Oats Banana instant oats with MCT and protein
How does Cricital Oats porridge provide you with energy for a long time?
Firstly - carbohydrates. Whole grain organic oatmeal (the main ingredient) is an optimal carbohydrate that releases glucose into the blood at the right pace. High glycemic index carbohydrates (such as white bread, rice, sugar) cause too fast a burst of glucose into the blood, which can lead to sudden starvation (when glucose is digested as fast). On the other hand, carbohydrates with very low IG (like some vegetables) do not give enough energy (glucose appears very slowly in the blood). Ingredients such as oatmeal (medium glycemic index) are digested at an optimum rate. This helps in a long satiety.
Second - optimal fats. Fat is a constituent that is often restricted in diet so the one you eat must be of the highest quality. MCT (medium chain triglycerides) used in oatmeal from Applied Nutrition is an absolute hit of recent years (it was thanks to MCT that coconut oil has gained so many followers). MCT has a positive effect on the body's energy level and is an alternative fuel for glucose, which further increases the feeling of satiety after a meal.
Third - protein. By limiting calorie intake, you should focus on delivering the right amount of protein to your body. Protein has a positive effect on the feeling of satiety and promotes the maintenance of muscle tissue. Quality is also important. Banana Critical Oats contains concentrated whey protein concentrate and whey protein isolate, which provide the optimum source of wholesome protein. In addition, the manufacturer took care to give the full amino acid profile for his product.
How to prepare Critical Oats Banana porridge?
You can do it in two ways.
The simplest thing is to add 150ml of boiling water, stir and wait 1 to 2 minutes - teaspoon is in the package so all you need is a working kettle :)
The other way is to mix porridge with cold milk (about 100ml) insertion into the microwave and heat up for 30 seconds. So prepared porridge will be a bit more calorie, sweeter and more delicate in taste. You can prepare it at home and then take it with you in a sealed, branded box.
