The benefits of coconut butter and MCT

Coconut butter contains exceptionally valuable fats - over 90% of coconut fat is saturated fatty acids; Fatty acids contained in coconut butter differ from others due to the high MCT (Medium-chain triglycerides).

Unlike other fatty acids, MCT digestion does not require the presence of bile acids - this means that these fats are absorbed by the human body in the middle of the digestive tract (the upper part of the small intestine).

The presence of MCT is particularly important in athletes' diets; MCTs contribute to strength and endurance and increase muscle mass. With MCT in the diet, carbohydrate reserves are protected in the body and thus you protect the muscle proteins from burning (catabolism) - so you lose fat instead of muscle during the reduction.


Lauronic acid
