Defatted almond flour from blanched almonds
Our low-fat almond flour is produced in a traditional Spanish manufacture of almond oil in the process of cold pressing using a hydraulic press.
Thanks to the classical method of cold pressing, valuable ingredients remain intact, and the fat content is minimized to only 8%. Afruse almond flour has the highest protein content and, at the same time, the lowest calorie content. Thanks to the fact that it is made of blanched almonds, it is extremely delicate and aromatic.
Almond flour is a rich source of vitamin E, B1, B2, PP, potassium, zinc and magnesium. Regular consumption of almonds prevents atherosclerosis, heart attack, cancer, stroke, premature aging.
Compared to wheat flour, non-fat almond flour has:
- over 5 times less carbohydrates,
- almost 4 times more protein
