Gluten-free bread from the machine - a recipe
Ingredients for homemade gluten-free bread from a vending machine (1 medium loaf)
- 2 egg whites (or vegan gruel with 20g chickpea flour + 60ml water)
- 6 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 350ml water
- 500g gluten-free bread mix
- 2 teaspoons yeast
Instructions on how to prepare a gluten-free bread machine
- Put protein (or chickpea flour + water), oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and water into a bowl and mix well
- Transfer the leaven to bread form
- Sprinkle the flour on top of the wet ingredients and yeast on the top
- Close the lid and start the machine in a gluten-free bread program, if available, alternatively use the basic or quick setting with the high-baking option.
- After baking, remove the bread from the mold and leave to cool on a wire rack, remember to cool the bread completely before slicing.
