The ChocZero brand's main motto is "The New Standard in Sweet," and these are not words used in exaggeration, as ChocZero has completely abandoned the use of traditional sugar in its products, replacing it with natural and, above all, healthier substitutes. In the case of the delicious ChocZero Keto Bark chocolate bars, sugar has been replaced with monk fruit, which is considered one of the sweetest fruits in the world - its extract is 300 times sweeter than sugar! What's more, in China it is still called the fruit of immortality, so it's no surprise to find that the manufacturer is setting a new standard in sweetness.

Choc Zero Keto Bark, White Chocolate & Almond is a bar of white chocolate with the addition of crunchyalmond flakes. See how good sugar-free chocolate can be!

How it was with chocolate during the communist era - and why it's better now :)

Theobroma cacao, orcacao tree proper, bears fruit inthe form of a large pod. In one such fruit there are from 20 to 60 cacao beans covered with mucilaginous pulp. Appropriate processing of the beans makes it possible to obtain various cocoa raw materials - pulp, butter and powder most commonly used in the food and cosmetic industries. Recently, the beans themselves, which can be bought in raw versions, have also become popular.

Chocolate-like products began to appear in Poland in the 1980s to satisfy citizens' dreams of a brown, sweet cube of pleasure. Cocoa butter was replaced by another vegetable fat (often hydrogenated), and the cocoa content was less than a few percent! Instead, there was a lot of sugar and flavorings to make it all at least a little like what it was supposed to be replacing. On the surface, the product appeared to be chocolate, but there was something wrong at the start - it was called a "dessert bar" and had the unappetizing addendum "fatty mass product." All this was due to shortages of supplies. But what was there to wonder about? This type of confectionery was not subject to the card rationing system, and as a result, it was possible to stock up on it when you had a few change in your pocket.

Fortunately, gone are the days of chocolate-like products! But are they for sure? You only have to consciously read the labels to realize that someone is trying to make us feel like a balloon. Sugar comes first, and instead of cocoa butter, palm oil has been added, plus a lot of unnecessary substances. Let's say "STOP it!"

An example of cool chocolate (and white chocolate at that) is Choc Zero Keto Bark, White Chocolate & Almond:

  • prepared on the basis of real cocoa butter
  • contains no sugar, soy, palm oil, gluten or GMOs
  • is low in carbohydrates - 2 g net carbs per serving (great for the keto diet)
  • is packed with real almond flakes and Madagascar vanilla
  • is sweetened with monk fruit

This is an extremely delicious, velvety chocolate that crunches pleasantly. There are no suspicious fats here, only the goodness that comes from Theobroma cacao . This is a truly divine treat!
