D&G Old Jamaica Ginger Beer Extra Fiery is part of the portfolio ofJamaican company Desnoes & Geddes (D&G), known for Red Stripe and Ting. Ginger Beer under the Old Jamaica brand made its debut in the UK in 1988 and quickly gained cult soft-drink status.
The Extra Fiery variant was created as a response to fans demanding a "stronger kick" of ginger. It contains a higher dose of ginger root extract, resulting in a distinctly spicy "warming" finish - hence the Fiery attribution.
