Description
Brazil nut butter is valued for its nutritional value - it contains an average of 18% protein, less than 3% sugars and fats, of which 25% is saturated fat (most of all nuts), 34% monounsaturated fatty acids and 41% fatty acids polyunsaturated. Brazil nuts are a great source of selenium, magnesium and thiamine - they contain 2500 times more selenium than other nuts, already 2 nuts per day to cover the total demand of the body to protect against heart disease and a strong antioxidant. 100g of Brazilian nut butter covers 24% of daily requirement for biotin, 112% of phosphorus requirement, over daily dose of magnesium and nearly 20% of daily iron requirement.
Compared to other nutmeg butter, Brazil nut butter contains very little carbohydrates, including in particular sugar - less than 3g in 100g of butter. Gentle cream taste of Brazilian nuts perfectly blends with apple, creating a natural, healthy snack. Nuts on the butter are first roasted and then ground with grits, which allows them to be extracted with full flavor and aroma.
