Aspartame does not increase the calorie content of food products, it is intended for consumption in the cold, e.g. sweet drinks, ice cream, desserts. In its basic form, aspartame leaves no aftertaste, it also has the properties of strengthening and preserving the taste and aroma of fruit, especially citrus aromas.

Aspartame should not be used for baking, because it is unstable at high temperatures - under their influence it breaks down into free amino acids and loses its sweetening properties - therefore, aspartame or sweeteners based on it are not suitable not only for baking, cooked or pasteurized food, but also to sweeten coffee or tea
