Bartolini Artisan Pasta is a unique, two-ingredient pasta made from durum semolina, enriched with blue spirulina, giving it a fascinating deep emerald color. Thanks to its rough finish, achieved through traditional "al bronzo" pressing, it retains sauces perfectly, making it an ideal choice for dishes with shrimp, fish, seafood or simple, flavorful aglio olio. The shape of the pigs and the rough surface further enhance its ability to retain flavors, making any dish even more pronounced and full of character.

Spirulina, added to the pasta in dried form (3%), is a wealth of nutrients. It is a source of easily digestible protein, which contains all the essential amino acids. It also contains B vitamins, iron, chlorophyll and antioxidants that support immune system health and nourish the body at the cellular level. Spirulina also helps detoxify the body and, thanks to its richness in nutrients, supports skin and hair health while improving energy and vitality levels.

Pressing "al bronzo" is a traditional Italian method of pasta production, which involves passing the dough through molds made of bronze (hence the name: "bronzo" means bronze in Italian). This process has several key advantages that distinguish pasta pressed this way:

  1. Roughtexture - Pressing through bronze molds gives the pasta a distinctive, rough surface that better retains sauces. This makes each dish more flavorful, as the sauces adhere perfectly to the pasta.

  2. Higher quality - Pasta pressed "al bronzo" tends to be of higher quality than mass-produced pasta. The process is more time-consuming, but produces thicker and more springy pasta.

  3. Better texture when cooked - "al bronzo" pasta has an excellent texture when cooked. It is slightly springy but does not overcook, making it ideal for both simple and more complex dishes.

  4. Traditional method - The process is deeply rooted in Italian tradition, giving the pasta a unique authenticity. Many premium pasta manufacturers use this method to highlight their heritage and offer high-quality products.

Thanks to the "al bronzo" pressing, pasta such as Bartolini Artisan Pasta not only tastes better, but also looks more authentic and goes well with a variety of sauces, from light to heavy, making it an ideal choice for a variety of dishes.
