Café Frappé is a cold-serve whipped instant coffee, not the only one, but probably the most popular iced coffee in the world - contrary to what many people think, its home is not Italy or France (although the name is French), but Greece. In 1957, an international trade fair was being held in Thessaloniki, Greece, where one exhibitor was presenting a new instant chocolate drink for children made by mixing cocoa powder and milk in a shaker; when the same exhibitor wanted to make himself a coffee during a break, it turned out that there was no boiling water - so he poured cold water over the instant coffee and used the same shaker to mix it. Directionsfor use: pour 5g of coffee (2-3 teaspoons) into a cup, add sugar or sweetener and pour 200ml-250ml of cold milk., stir immediately 20-30 seconds until completely dissolved. Best served with ice cubes.
