Bartfan is another Polish brand that decided to launch jams without added sugar based on real fruits and other only natural ingredients. An extremely important feature is the fact that, unlike other products without added sugar, Bartfan currant jam, it also contains very little sugar naturally found in ingredients - just 0.3g per 100g of product. This makes the product safe for people even on an extremely low carbohydrate diet. The main source of carbohydrates is a natural sweetener (xylitol), which does not affect the level of glucose in the blood and is to a limited extent absorbed.
Bartfan currant jam is characterized by dry, sour taste. It is perfect as an addition to sweet omelettes, protein pancakes and other dishes that require natural moisturizing (eg on dietary bread)
