Grapoila Sesame Butter is a unique 100% sesame tahini pulp, created for discerning customers who appreciate the highest quality ingredients and care in the production process. Made exclusively from selected sesame seeds and cold-pressed sesame oil, this product offers an authentic, deep flavor that will satisfy even the most sophisticated palates.

  • Cold pressing is the key to preserving the full nutritional value and rich flavor of sesame seeds. This process keeps the valuable fatty acids, vitamins and minerals intact, making Grapoil sesame pulp not only a luxurious flavor choice, but also a healthy addition to your daily diet.
  • The 100% natural formula without gluten, additives or preservatives guarantees the purity of the composition, which is an invaluable asset for conscious consumers. Grapoil's sesame pulp is the true essence of nature at its finest, ideal for spreading, adding to dishes, or eating as a snack.

Raw tahini sesame pulp tempts with its deep, nutty aroma, which immediately brings to mind the natural, unprocessed nature of sesame. The aroma is subtly intense, slightly roasted, enveloping, bringing a hint of exoticism and authenticity to the kitchen.

The taste of tahini is a real feast for the palate - gently bitter, with a distinctly nutty accent, which gives a refined character to the dish. Each spoonful carries a depth of flavor, perfectly balanced between subtlety and sharpness, which remains pleasantly on the tongue.

The texture of tahini is creamy, velvety, even liquid, but at the same time thick, which makes it ideal for spreading on bread or combining with other ingredients in dishes. Its smoothness gives dishes a unique texture, while retaining the natural fullness of sesame flavor.

Raw sesame seed pulp (tahini) is a good choice for a ketogenic diet. Here are some reasons why:

  1. Rich in healthy fats - Sesame pulp contains a high amount of fats, which is key on a ketogenic diet. The fats it contains, especially unsaturated fatty acids, support heart health and help maintain a state of ketosis.

  2. Low carbohydrate content - Sesame pulp has a very low amount of carbohydrates (about 2.5 grams per 100 grams), making it friendly to the keto diet, which aims to limit carbohydrates.

  3. A source of protein - Tahini also provides protein (about 8.9 g per 100 g), which helps maintain muscle mass, especially on a low-carb diet.

  4. A wealth of nutrients - Sesame pulp provides vitamins (especially B vitamins) and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc, which are essential for maintaining health, especially on a ketogenic diet.

Because of these properties, sesame pulp is not only a tasty, but also a healthy addition to the ketogenic diet, helping to maintain its balanced composition of fats, protein and carbohydrates.

If you are looking for a product that harmoniously combines top quality with authentic taste, Grapoila Sesame Butter is a choice that will meet your expectations.

Here are 5 simple but exquisite uses for Grapoila raw sesame pulp in healthy cooking:

  1. Homemade hummus - add raw sesame pulp to cooked chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic and olive oil to create a velvety and rich-tasting hummus. It's the perfect accompaniment to whole wheat bread or vegetables.

  2. Salads with a hint of sesame - mix sesame pulp with lemon juice, honey and a bit of olive oil for an exquisite, creamy salad dressing. It goes great with arugula salads, avocado and roasted vegetables.

  3. Marinades for meat and fish - use sesame pulp as a base for a marinade, combining it with soy sauce, ginger and garlic. This is a great way to enhance the flavor of grilled chicken or salmon.

  4. Smoothie bowl with tahini - add a tablespoon of sesame pulp to a smoothie based on banana, spinach and almond milk. Tahini adds creaminess and enriches the drink with healthy fats and protein.

  5. Tahini-based desserts - use sesame pulp as an ingredient for healthy desserts such as date, nut and cocoa power balls. Tahini adds a unique nutty note that enhances the flavor of sweets.

How Grapoila is bringing the Zero Waste philosophy to the production of sesame seed products

We would like to present the essence of our zero-waste production process using the example of the sesame seeds we use to produce our unique sesame pulp.

After the initial cold-pressing of sesame oil, a so-called cake, a byproduct of the process, is produced. Instead of treating it as waste, at Grapoila we give it a second life. We grind the sesame cake into sesame flour, which is a rich source of protein and fiber, as well as valuable minerals such as calcium and iron.

This flour can be used as a natural addition to baked goods, cakes or smoothies, increasing their nutritional value. As a result, each production step utilizes the full potential of sesame seeds - from sesame oil to pulp to sesame flour.

What's more, we use the sludge that is produced during the sedimentation of sesame oil in cosmetics as a natural skin care product. It contains only natural ingredients, with no artificial additives, making it perfect as a face mask or nourishing scrub.

We are proud that our production is completely zero waste. For us, the Zero Waste philosophy is more than just a trend - it's a mission that ensures our products are created in harmony with nature, while providing the highest quality ingredients for everyday use.

We make sure that future generations can also enjoy the beauty and resources of nature. We hope that your conscious choices and small but thoughtful decisions will also contribute to protecting our environment.

Highlights of Grapoil's products

ZERO WASTE PHILOSOPHY

All by-product raw materials generated during the production of Grapoila products are 100% recycled, nothing is wasted. With the idea of producing high-quality, healthy food from natural ingredients in mind, Grapoil's intention has always been to create value also from what other producers condemned to discard, even grape pomace representing pure vineyard waste, at best used as animal feed - it was in pomace that Grapoil's founders saw a treasure trove of goodness with excellent physiological effects and high-quality oil more than 10 years ago. With this first raw material, the production of Zero Waste of Grapoila's cold-pressed oils began.

During Zero Waste compliant production, all parts of incoming raw materials are processed, nothing is thrown away. In the case of grape pomace, grape skins rich in bioactive substances are separated from the seeds and ground after drying. Such pulp/cream can be used to flavor cakes and creams. The seeds are also dried and then oil is pressed from them - without heat treatment or additives - on our own presses. The resulting cold-pressed oils are highly nutritious, healthy food or cosmetic oils, which are bottled in dark bottles.

The precipitate formed before filtering the freshly pressed oil is oil sludge, which, like oil, is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, but also contains seed microparticles. It is sold as gourmet cream or cosmetic mud, depending on its nature.

From the "dry residue" after oil pressing, granules remain, which are low in fat and carbohydrates, but very rich in plant protein, vitamins and other nutrients, which are ground into gluten-free flours that are excellent baking additives.

Since we use only natural ingredients, the few by-products that we might not otherwise use are dried into feed, flower soil, compost or fuel. The latter, along with any green waste, is placed in a biomass boiler that heats the drying system, closing the loop. We also take environmental considerations into account when maintaining the plant. For cleaning, we mainly use air generated by a compressor. For wiping, we rent wipes from a company that extracts oil from the used cloth to heat the laundry and clean again.

With "Zero Waste" production, Grapoila reduces its environmental footprint while cutting costs.

TOP QUALITY

The high quality of Grapoila products with truly exceptional content and excellent taste depends primarily on the careful selection of raw materials and their processing under proper production conditions.

Grapoila takes extreme care in sourcing raw materials, buying them mainly from EU producers, who provide the opportunity to trace the entire cultivation process. The quality of seed storage and processing is guaranteed by the strictest certifications of the plant's food industry (HACCP, FSSC 20000, GMP), Grapoila's production facility does not accept 100% gluten-free food containing gluten, as evidenced by the certification of the European Gluten Free Association (AOECS).

In addition to adhering to strict food and quality standards, the production method itself ensures the high quality of Grapoila's oils. Thanks to high-performance, self-developed screw presses (as opposed to the traditional extraction oil production method) , there is no need to heat-treat the raw material, additives or chemicals. Oils extracted by cold-pressing contain all the natural, valuable nutrients of the seeds, restoring their original flavor, making them very healthy and delicious.

Nothing proves Grapoil's quality better than the many, many honors and awards that the products of this Hungarian manufactory have received at many important exhibitions and competitions in recent years. Year after year, Grapoil's oils and gourmet products delight the judges of competitions and tasting fairs, which includes recognized experts on both the national and international scene.

The exceptional quality of our products has also been recognized by many Hungarian gourmet restaurants and fine chefs, who prefer to use our cold-pressed oils, seed flours and seed creams for their seasonally renewable food compositions. Our success in the food and restaurant industry confirms that we are on the right track and that there is a demand for high-quality, chemically produced plant-based products.

100% NATURE = 100% HEALTH

Food from natural ingredients processed without chemicals is the basis of a quality diet. Seeds are nature's wonders: little microcosms full of valuable nutrients from which plant life draws, and from which - with a little care and skill - we can also benefit. That little "skill" is cold pressing (squeezing). This process ensures that the nutrients are carefully and tightly sealed in the seeds, using only mechanical means that do not alter the chemical composition of the raw materials. It's a completely chemical-free process, with no need for roasting (roasting is a real vitamin killer!), solvents, acid mucus removal, chemical clarification or deodorization.

Grapoil's engineering team has spent years designing screw presses that can ensure extrusion from seeds of different sizes and hardnesses with the highest possible efficiency. Throughout the production process, the temperature does not exceed 40°C, so that the aromas, flavors and nutrients naturally present in the seeds are fully preserved in the processed products.

Gluten-free seed flour obtained by grinding the pellet, which is separated from the oil during pressing, is also very rich in vitamins and minerals. Grapoil flours are an excellent natural source of fiber and plant protein, but they are also very low in carbohydrates and fat. Pumpkin seed flour, for example, has a protein content of almost 70%, and its amino acid composition is almost perfect.
