RealFoodSource Certified Organic Fine Coconut Flour (1kg)
Extremely aromatic, finely ground, silky, skimmed RealFoodSource coconut flour is made from Sri Lankan coconuts from certified bio-crops. The fresh coconut pulp of ripe coconuts is gently dried, defatted in a 100% mechanical extrusion process without the use of any chemicals, and finally ground to a smooth silky powder. The fat content in this flour is reduced to a minimum of only 8% and the fiber content is maintained at extremely high levels of over 40%.
Coconut flour is characterized by very high absorption of liquids precisely because of its high fiber content - it absorbs up to 60% more liquids than it weighs, which should be remembered by replacing the traditional wheat flour in the recipes with coconut flour - the amount of flour can be reduced by 20% -25%. Coconut flour is naturally sweet, so you can limit the use of sugar or sweeteners.
RealFoodSource coconut flour is made from raw, unroasted coconut and is ground cold at temperatures below 40°C, so it retains a set of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants. The flour is not perfumed, bleached or treated with any chemical substances.
