Walnut flour is suitable for keto and paleo diets as a protein and fiber source. Highly defatted walnut flour preserves the aroma of fresh walnut, but has as much as 1/3 less calories than whole nuts. Walnut flour is an excellent base for gluten-free paleo cakes (crunchy bottom), it can also be used for baking as an additive to pancakes and oatmeals.

Pumpkin seed flour is available in both organic and conventional versions. To our great delight, in 2020, Grapoila Bio Pumpkin Seed Flour received a two-star, excellent rating at the world’s most prestigious food tasting competition, the Great Taste.

DID YOU KNOW? Pumpkin flour, like other nut and seed flours, is a by-product of the oil pressing process. Pumpkin seed oil can be pressed in two ways. A method without roasting the seeds, in which no salt is added, so consequently the flour does not contain added salt. The second method comes from Austria, it is called Styrian pressing or Styrian pressing, in which salt and water are added to the pumpkin seeds, and the seeds are roasted to give the oil a stronger, more characteristic flavor, but therefore the flour becomes slightly salty. Both pumpkin oils and pumpkin flour can be of equal quality in both methods, but differ in saltiness and in the type of aroma. As all Grapoila flours are produced under the conditions of raw cold pressing, also Grapoila pumpkin flour is raw and undersalted, so it has a different taste than other pumpkin flours on the market and has a lower salt / sodium content.

Our flour is made from shellless oil pumpkin, it has a characteristic taste and smell, its color is bright green. The consumption of gluten-free pumpkin seed flour is especially recommended for those who follow a vegan diet, as it has an exceptionally high protein content, in addition, it contains 8 essential amino acids, so its amino acid composition is almost perfect. However, its carbohydrate and fat content is low, making it a good fit for low-energy diets as well. Its phosphorus content helps brain and nerve function, slows down the process of cerebral degeneration in old age. Its regular consumption has a beneficial effect on bladder and prostate diseases.

It can be used to make cakes and hot dishes, added to buns, scones, special bread doughs, mixed into smoothies, yoghurts, muesli.

It can replace up to 30% of traditional white flour. It makes our dishes special with its wonderful green color.
